My History

So you know who you’re dealing with, I thought I’d take a couple of minutes to tell you a little about me. I started in the print industry as a teenager, working in my father’s publishing company.

It was here  I learned the basics… how to typeset a book and design a brochure, the fundamentals of hard work and the need for professional conduct at all times.

These “old fashioned” values of Dad’s have  guided me throughout my career. And yes, I still bring these to every client, new and old, I work with. It’s one of the reasons they tell me they come back again and again.

From this pretty small beginning I branched out into  a retail bookshop/cafe, learning the art of serving a client, along with the need to continually improve on the quality of the product I was creating (as many people who love coffee will know, getting one right is quite the challenge). Meanwhile, I pursued my passion for technology, gaining the groundwork for the experience of adopting the latest technology in this business today.

One day, whilst working at Officeworks in Canberra, I came across an advertisement for the sale of Creative Visions Print and Design.

The small business was the opportunity I had been looking for. Although the business and its equipment were run down, dad and I took the plunge and started improving from the ground up the product and the services provided. Over the years we have consistently worked to modernise the equipment fitout, and worked on systems to ensure quality across the board. Slowly but surely we focused on continual tiny improvements (a philosophy I recommend to any business owner) until we sit here today with a product we are proud to present to you.

 The biggest thrill for us still is producing high quality products and delivering professional service. Must admit, we get a real kick too out of  book printing and publishing, and helping authors get started with their written works.

With our roots in the book publishing business and my own experience in book retail, we are expertly placed to give  \authors the RIGHT advice on how to produce the best product possible, and then market and sell it for maximum returns. So welcome to this site.  I’m looking forward to working with you to build your business.
